Sunday, Sept. 21: Good Samaritan Community Covenant Church will present its 30th annual Awana Carnival, 1 to 5 p.m., 4684 Baldwin St., Rancho Calaveras, just a block off State Route 26. The family carnival – one of the largest children’s outreach events in the county - includes more than 60 games, lazer tag, pony rides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, live music, pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, snow cones, cotton candy and more.
