   The Valley Springs News will begin publishing Calaveras County’s public notices and legal advertising as of Sept. 1.
   The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors awarded the contract to The Valley Springs News on a 4-0 vote Tuesday. The Calaveras Enterprise, based in San Andreas, has had the contract for more than a decade. That publication did not submit a bid.
