Saturday, Dec. 13: Christmas on the Ranch Fundraiser, noon to 4 p.m., 10179 Camanche Parkway South, Valley Springs. The event presented by Scarlett Lucero will benefit Humble Hoof Horsemanship and Rescue to help provide hay, blankets, shoes and veterinary care for the horses. Activities include pictures with Santa, Christmas farm animals, face painting, a raffle, reindeer roping lessons, stick horse races, carriage rides and lots of vendors to get some Christmas shopping done. There is a suggested donation of $15 per family, all of which goes to the rescue.
